If you need a specific lot number, please email hello@navynoo.com prior to placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate requests based on available inventory. Once an order is placed, we cannot guarantee lot number matching or provide replacements due to lot number variation.

What is a lot number?
A lot number refers to a specific dye batch used by the thread manufacturer. Because threads are dyed in batches, colors may vary slightly from one lot number to another, even when the color name and number are the same.

Why lot numbers matter
Lot numbers are especially important in needlepoint. If you run out of thread mid-project and need additional skeins, a different lot number may result in slight color variation. This can be noticeable once stitched, particularly in larger areas of the same color.

Ordering multiple skeins
When possible, we will pull thread from the same lot number for multiple skeins of the same color. However, this is not guaranteed, especially during periods of limited inventory or when combining threads across kits.
