Basketweave Bootcamp

You've mastered continental, now master the stitch that makes the back of your canvas as beautiful as the front.

Basketweave Bootcamp is the natural next step after our Beginner class. In 90 focused minutes, you'll learn the technique that gives you a smoother finished surface, less canvas distortion, and no more ridges or visible diagonal lines. We'll cover the basketweave rhythm, how to read your canvas and climb in the right direction, clean ways to start and stop your thread, and how to troubleshoot tension as you go.

This is a hands-on, small-group class, so you'll get individual feedback while you stitch. You'll learn the technique here and have everything you need to finish your piece at home.

Your seat includes everything:

• A blank 13-mesh canvas (4" square design on an 8" ground), pre-mounted on stretcher bars
• One skein of Planet Earth silk thread
• A tapestry needle
• A reusable project bag to keep it all together

Just bring yourself.

Good to know: A 4" square of basketweave is a satisfying amount of stitching,  most stitchers won't finish in class, and that's by design. You'll leave knowing the technique cold and ready to complete your canvas at home.

Recommended for stitchers who are comfortable with continental and ready to level up. Space is limited so everyone gets one-on-one attention, reserve your spot early.
